What is SFXVault?
SFXVault is a creator-focused audio library built to help people find ready-to-use sound effects and background music faster. Audio is organized into practical packs for videos, games, apps, streams, podcasts, trailers, social media, and other creative projects.
Who is SFXVault for?
SFXVault is built for creators who need practical audio fast: YouTubers, game developers, video editors, streamers, podcasters, app developers, indie creators, and anyone working on creative media.
What kind of audio does SFXVault provide?
The current library includes sound effects, background music, ambience, UI sounds, impact sounds, nature sounds, cinematic sounds, themed audio packs, and a growing ASMR library. ASMR recordings are now available on SFXVault and will continue to expand with new categories and production-ready material.
Why use packs instead of finding or generating every sound separately?
When you already know the type of audio a project needs, SFXVault can reduce time spent prompting, regenerating, comparing, cleaning up, or collecting related files one by one. Packs group useful sounds around a theme, scene, interface, environment, or mood so you can search, preview, download, and return to production faster. Generative tools can still be useful for highly specific one-off needs; SFXVault focuses on making ready-to-use audio quick to find.

What can I download with a Free account?
A Free account gives you access to selected free sound effects and free BGM packs. It is a good way to test SFXVault, check the audio quality, and use selected assets in your projects.
SFXVault currently offers 300+ free audio files. Do I need a credit card for a Free account?
No. You can start with a Free account and upgrade to Pro later when you need access to the full growing library. Can I use free sounds in my projects?
Yes. Free sounds may be used in creative projects under the SFXVault License unless a specific item states otherwise.

SFXVault Pro
What do I get with SFXVault Pro?
SFXVault Pro gives you access to the paid SFXVault library, including Pro sound effects, BGM tracks, downloadable packs, and future premium audio content.
Pro currently includes access to 2,800+ sound effects, 700+ BGM tracks, and new files added every week. Library totals may continue to grow over time. How much does SFXVault Pro cost?
SFXVault Pro Monthly costs $5 per month.
Your subscription gives you access to Pro content while your subscription is active. Is SFXVault Pro a monthly subscription?
Yes. SFXVault Pro Monthly is a monthly subscription service. Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically every month. Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals.
Access to Pro content may continue until the end of your current paid subscription period. What happens after I cancel SFXVault Pro?
After cancellation, your Pro access remains available until the end of the current billing period. After that, Pro-only downloads will no longer be available unless you subscribe again.
Completed projects that were lawfully created and published or delivered during your active subscription period may remain online or continue to be used after your subscription ends.
Once your subscription ends, you may not use previously downloaded Pro audio in new projects, new client work, new campaigns, new uploads, or materially new productions.
License and Usage
Can I use SFXVault audio commercially?
Yes. SFXVault audio may be used in commercial and non-commercial projects during an active subscription, including videos, games, apps, podcasts, livestreams, trailers, advertisements, client work, and paid projects.

Yes. You can use SFXVault sound effects and BGM in YouTube videos, including monetized videos, as long as the audio is used as part of your finished video project. Can I use SFXVault audio in games?
Yes. You can use SFXVault audio in video games, mobile games, indie games, prototypes, mods, trailers, and commercial game projects. Can I use SFXVault audio in podcasts or livestreams?
Yes. SFXVault audio can be used in podcasts, livestreams, intros, transitions, background scenes, stream alerts, and similar creative content. Can I use SFXVault audio for client work?
Yes. You may use SFXVault audio in client work and paid projects, as long as the audio is embedded in the finished project and is not handed over as standalone audio files for separate reuse. Can I edit, trim, loop, or mix the sounds?
Yes. You may edit the audio as needed for your production, including cutting, trimming, looping, fading, pitch adjustment, layering, mixing, and other reasonable production processing. Do I need to credit SFXVault?
Attribution is not required, but it is appreciated.

SFXVault audio is licensed for use in your creative projects under the SFXVault License. The audio is licensed, not sold, and copyright ownership is not transferred.
In simple terms: you can use the audio in your finished projects, but you cannot resell, redistribute, re-upload, or repackage the raw audio as your own sound library. Can I redistribute or resell the audio files?
No. You may not redistribute, resell, re-upload, share, transfer, or repackage SFXVault audio as standalone files, sound effects, BGM tracks, sample packs, asset libraries, datasets, templates, or similar downloadable products.
Use the audio in your finished creative project, not as your own standalone audio collection. Can I register SFXVault audio with Content ID or rights-management systems?
No. You may not register SFXVault audio in YouTube Content ID, Meta Rights Manager, TikTok rights systems, audio fingerprint databases, or similar automated rights-management or monetization systems. Can I use SFXVault audio for AI training datasets?
No. SFXVault audio may not be used for AI training datasets, machine learning datasets, model training, fine-tuning, audio generation systems, or similar data collection purposes without prior written permission from SFXVault.
Downloads and Files
Are downloads individual files or packs?
Most SFXVault content is provided as packs. This makes it easier to preview and download multiple related sounds at once instead of collecting files one by one, helping reduce search time during production. What file formats are used?
SFXVault may provide audio in formats such as MP3 or WAV depending on the pack. Preview files may be shorter or compressed for faster browsing, while downloadable pack files are intended for creative use. I cannot download a file. What should I check?
Please check the following:
- You are logged in.
- Your subscription is active.
- The pack is available for your plan.
- Your browser is not blocking the download.
- The download link has not expired.
Some download links may be temporary for security reasons. If the problem continues, please contact us. When will digital content become available?
Digital content becomes available after account registration and successful payment confirmation. For subscription members, Pro downloadable content becomes available once the subscription is active.
Requests and Support
Can I request specific sounds?
Yes. If you need a specific sound effect, BGM style, ambience, ASMR material, or audio category, you can send a request through the Request Sounds page.
Requested sounds may be created as part of a future SFXVault pack. Can I request custom licensing or special permission?
Yes. If you need extended permission, custom licensing, or have a rights-related question, please contact SFXVault.
You can use the Contact page for license questions, support, or special permission requests. I registered, but my account is not active. What should I do?
