About SFXVault

SFXVault exists because I could not find the kind of audio library I wanted to use myself.

I kept running into the same problem on sound and music sites: crowded pages, too many things competing for attention, and too much time spent searching before I could get back to the work I actually wanted to make. After a long session, even finding a simple sound could leave my eyes tired.

I wanted something simpler: an organized place where related sound effects and BGM are easy to scan, preview, and compare without turning the search itself into another project. I looked for that kind of site and could not find exactly what I wanted, so I built SFXVault for myself first.

That origin still shapes the site today. The goal is simple: less searching, less clutter, and more time for creating.

Why SFXVault Uses Packs

The current library focuses on sound effect packs and background music packs for videos, games, livestreams, apps, social media, and other creative or commercial projects. Related assets are grouped together so creators can collect a useful set of sounds for a scene, interface, environment, mood, or production task instead of finding every file separately.

A key part of the SFXVault concept is the idea of growing packs. Instead of treating each pack as static content, packs may continue to expand through future updates. This makes the library more flexible and more useful over time.

High-Quality ASMR Library

SFXVault now includes a growing ASMR library focused on detailed, production-ready recordings. The collection currently includes Mechanical & Industrial material and will continue to expand with additional environments, textures, and recording categories while keeping the same easy-to-browse approach used across the rest of SFXVault.

SFXVault is designed for people who value clarity, speed, and usability — including video creators, game developers, streamers, editors, and commercial users.

The site is operated by Tomohiro Fukumura.

Creators can begin with the Free SFX and Free BGM libraries, explore full access through SFXVault Pro, and review the SFXVault License before downloading.

Find Audio by Project Type

Creators can browse SFXVault according to the scene, pace, and atmosphere their project needs. Travel and cultural edits can start with collections such as Paris Café Walk, Buenos Aires Midnight, or Tropical Breeze. Games, trailers, and dramatic sequences may be better matched with Fantasy Kingdom, Boss Battle Cinematic, or Emotional Epic.

Each pack page is intended to explain the mood, possible uses, and available access level clearly, so visitors can compare options before downloading. For questions about permitted use, attribution, commercial projects, or redistribution restrictions, review the license summary and the FAQ.

Some materials on this site may be created, recorded, edited, enhanced, or curated through a combination of original workflows and modern production tools. All content is selected and organized with practical use in mind as part of the SFXVault library.
